Characterization of Academic Success in Non-face-to-face Education in Nursing Students

Introduction: In response to changing educational dynamics and the growing need for flexibility, non-face-to-face education has emerged as a significant modality in the training of nursing professionals.
Objective: Describe the characteristics that influence the academic success of non-face-to-face education in nursing students.
Methods: Integrative review during the months of December 2023 and January 2024, which considered the stages according to the PRISMA guide. The search was carried out in the databases: PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO Host, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Embase, Biblioteca Virtual de Salud y SciELO; using the Boolean operators OR and AND. Complete texts were considered, in all languages, and 22 articles were obtained that met the planned objectives to achieve a global and integrative understanding.
Conclusions: Academic success in non-face-to-face education of nursing students is intrinsically linked to personal and educational characteristics and solid technological infrastructure.
