Introduction: Noncommunicable diseases are a global burden and the leading cause of death. In the face of this challenge, telenursing emerges as a promising solution to transform care worldwide.
Objective: To describe the benefits of telenursing in the continuous care of patients with noncommunicable diseases.
Methods: An integrative review was conducted during August and September 2023, considering the stages according to the PRISMA guide. The search was carried out in the Scopus, PubMed, SciELO, ScienceDirect, Embase and Virtual Health Library databases, using the Boolean operators OR and AND. Full texts were considered, as well as in all languages, published between the years 2018 and 2023; 27 articles were obtained that met the planned objectives to achieve a global and integrative understanding.
Conclusions: Telenursing improves communication, promotes healthy lifestyles and enables early detection of physical changes in patients with noncommunicable diseases.
